Quoth a commercial I just saw on Japanese TV:
"I wish that I had a bigger nose..."
...
Are you intentionally mocking me, Japan, or is it just something that you do?

Hrm...
I'm feel much better today, which is quite odd considering that the project is even closer and I still have a lot to pack.
Huh.
Goddamn it...
You know, I decided maybe, just maybe I would buy myself a Gators shirt. Because, you know, I never did.
I heard that Victoria's Secret would be be releasing some clothing with various schools on it (University of Florida included).
What do they release? The ugliest crap ever.
You know what? I WANTED to buy a shirt from you, but what do you make? A shirt with that ugly Gator head and SOME HEARTS.
HEARTS!
Yeah, just...just stop. Go to jail -- do not collect $200 -- just...just effing stop.
...
Hearts. REALLY?! HEARTS? You make me sick.

Airport Fun!
Two minutes later, my flight was canceled.
As of right now I have been rerouted to two different airports and, hopefully, am currently on the last leg of my journey.
As the plane took off amid the wonderful Michigan weather (which, five minutes previous, looked like the gateway to hell) all I could think was how much I utterly loathe the weather system there.

An old enemy...
As previously stated, when I was younger I was deadly afraid of Smokey the Bear. Recently, I have over come a bit of my trepidation.
However, his venture into the Uncanny Valley has once again made him Public Enemy No. 1 in my little world.
Just watch this spot

I know! I know!
Look,
When we started this relationship I said I'd be there for you. I know that we've had our problems, honey. But, I'm here for you, really. It's just, things are tough right now. I know you were expecting something last night, but I fell asleep kind of early and didn't get to it today.
Things will be better tomorrow. We can make this work.
Until then you can enjoy my new favorite commercial (which I have been waiting to come online for a week now). JetBlue, you are my oasis of happiness in flying amid the shit-storm that I get from Delta (such as blatant age-ism when I sit first class).

An oldie, but a goodie
You see, this is how advertising should be done. Funny. Intriguing. Leaves you talking.

Apparently if I had stayed up for only one more day I would have entered the stage where you dream while awake. Pity.

Absolut Machines
In their new campaign Absolut Machines, Absolut attempts to understand the nature of Artificial Creativity (the notion of instilling a machine with 'creativity').
When the user provides the machine with an eight second music clip, the machine 'creates' its own song based on an interpretation of your provided clip.
I simply cannot get over the wonderful duality of it all - a company funds a project to expand the horizons of human thinking, while their product is designed solely to reduce you to your most lowest form of intelligence. (oh, and maybe get some chicks)

Uniqlo
Ok, so my promise of updating Tuesday, Thursday and on the weekend fell through pretty quickly. Until I get caught up on my backlog of things I missed, here is an amazing piece of viral marketing for Uniqlo (a Japanese clothing company).
You know you can't stop watching this clock. It is, simply put, amazing.
The amount of content within it is mind boggling. Not to mention the music and content of the ad changes based on the time on day (the daytime has more energetic dancers, while viewing the clock at night shows relaxing people reading and knitting).

Kinda verbose today...
On another note - going to try and shoot for updates on Tuesday, Thursday and sometime on the weekend. Not sure how long I can guarantee that I will maintain an interest level which will see that come to fruition.

Go, go, Power Ranger...!
I am also currently in love with the Team Fortress 2 commercials. I find that commercials for video games have had a tendency to not suck as of late, which is very encouraging.
